A 17th cent. inn with various small rooms and a large fireplace that overlooks the Brett valley. Part of the building was once a bakery which has been incorporated into the current structure.
Closed in late 2009 - future uncertain. The building was renovated during 2012/early 2013 and seen to be on the market as freehold premises (Feb 2013).
It was noticed (April 2014) that the building appears to have been sold and work is going on inside. We don't yet know if this means reopening or what - if you have any information please let us know.
Much renovation work ongoing in October 2014, so something may be happening soon.
