A 17th century inn with various small rooms and a large fireplace that overlooks the Brett valley. Part of the building was once a bakery which has been incorporated into the current structure.
Closed in late 2009 - we were told it would be reopening by Christmas 2015 and in addition to the Public House will have a 7 room Hotel and a Gastro Restaurant, for which planning permission had been received (details supplied Nov 2014). But this has slipped considerably and construction work was still underway, apparently with a lot still to do, when visited in July 2016 (see gallery).
