Friendly 1800s built pub, in a remote location near the windmill. Well worth seeking out. Reopened late December 2012 having been closed for a couple of years. Dog, family and "wellie" friendly, popular with walkers and cyclists and welcomes drinkers and diners alike. Two bar areas and restaurant. Monthly changing menu, featuring old favourites and some unusual dishes, using locally sourced ingredients. Wine stocked from Thelnetham vineyard. Ciders from local cider makers. Live music on Tuesday evenings.
