A warm and cosy small country hotel, named after a locally born artist. It's located close to the River Waveney and the Angles Way footpath. The interior is in an L shape, with the long part being the restaurant. The short part contains the bar, a few tables in front of it, and at the far end a small lounge with 4 armchairs.

Note

Sir Alfred James Munnings (1878–1959) was born in village and according to the Kelly Directory he was still listed as living in the village in 1900 (though at fourteen he was apprenticed to a Norwich printer, designing and drawing advertising posters).
