A distinctive old Lacon's pub, this is a large open-plan pub with excellent views of the seafront. It's popular with families and diners.
Although there has been a pub on this site since at least 1855, the current building appears 20th century, perhaps dating from the 1930s. Whether it was rebuilt or just heavily remodelled is uncertain.
