Originating as a Coach House in 1849, this pub is situated next to Lowestoft's bascule bridge.
It's mainly a restaurant, but there are stools at the bar for drinkers.
Local road improvements in 2007 mean that the pub is surrounded on three sides by a paved area which is part of a major esplanade improvement initiative. There's an outside patio area for smokers. Faith night club is upstairs in this pub.
Beer served through handpulls
Lunchtime meals (not just snacks)
Traditional pub games available
Dogs are not welcome
Pub is accessible to disabled customers
Railway station about 0.2 mile away (see public transport tab for details)
WiFi available (a charge may apply)
