Popular, large pub with a single main servery and several drinking areas.
The pub re-opened on Thursday March 29th 2012 after a major refurbishment under its first ever private owner, who intends to run it as a pub with a wide selection of Real Ales, music and several annual beer festivals. Now uses over sized beer glasses.
The original milestone outside the pub is grade 2* listed, while the pub itself only gets standard grade 2 listing. Some outside seating in an exclosed garden to rear. Disabled toilet.
Up to 6 traditional ciders may be available.
