Currently closed, future uncertain.

Former brewery offices converted into a bar in 1992 by the adjacent and historic Tolly Cobbold brewery. The pub is now independently-run and has an excellent reputation for its food and ales. There are generally a couple of Real Ales from Cliff Quay/Earl Soham as well as a selection of beers from (often unusual) other breweries.

The large main bar area and two nicely furnished small rooms to front of building provide excellent spaces for drinkers to escape from the noise of the town docks nearby but still offer some splendid views of the river.

The building dates from the 18th century, with 19th century additions.
