Flint faced cottages were converted into the current pub. Moorings to rear dealt with river traffic on its way to Bury.
Today the pub is well established for food.
Currently (October 2011) not trading. If you hear it's re-opened, please let us know.
Update: a caller to Lesley Dolphin's BBC Radio Suffolk programme reports that there are plans to renovate and reopen the Plough, but it may be well into the future.
