A Grade II listed free house believed to date from mediaeval times. It is situated midway between Ipswich and Bury st. Edmunds. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and caters for all types of functions. To the left of the entrance is a separate public bar with a pool table, dart board and other pub games. Straight ahead is the lounge, dining room, and restaurant.
B&B rooms were opened mid-2010.
