A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 26 Jun in 1853 states that :
For sale, The Plough Beer House in Stoke by Nayland
Virtually nothing is known about this pub except the reference in the paper - please contact Nigel if you have more details.
It seems most likely that this is actually the Levenheath Plough which would probably have been in Stoke by Nayland before boundary changes.
