The Greyhound is shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century. larger map

"I can confirm that the building pictured was indeed called the Greyhound many years ago. It belonged to Greene King in Bury St. Edmunds. The building is now two cottages and my family has owned one of them since 1961."
