Isaac Hall owner and keeper of the Mayfly beerhouse, at the bottom of Herring Fishery Score (which runs beside the Wheatsheaf), died suddenly after returning from a neighbouring beerhouse where he partook of some ales and porter.Ipswich Journal, April 21st 1860** when Isaac Hall was the (recently deceased) landlord of the May Fly.
