This was a short-lived beerhouse located close to the windmill.

**Speculation:** the building in our photograph and at the map location is claimed by the Listed Building Register to be the original Retreat. However, the historical records show that this was closer to the current Retreat building and was demolished in 1969. So it seems possible that, assuming this building was a pub at some time as the register claims, it might have been the Millers' Arms.
