Traditional wooden beamed hostelry that occupies a very prominent position on main street. The single main bar is decorated with numerous prints and paintings. It has no machines but does have piped music and traditional pub games. It is also family friendly and welcomes children. There is regular live music on Saturday evenings.
The building dates from the 16th century, but has been much altered since.
