A tastefully remodelled 17th century coaching inn (with a 16th century core) retaining many interesting features. The bar area is spacious whilst a new restaurant area dominates the rear. Three hand-pumped beers are on offer in winter and four in summer. The guest beers normally alternate between Woodfordes Wherry and Adnams bitter.
