Framlingham White Horsehistorical era: 21st century
closed July 2014
27 Well Close Square, IP13 9DT
A lounge bar with an adjoining games room. A split level drinking area extended up steps to a large beer garden.
The building dates from the 1510, according to Alfred Hedges' 1976 book, "Inns and Inn Signs of Norfolk and Suffolk".
Currently closed and empty, since the previous tenants have left the building. We understand that the building was finally sold early in 2016. In early June 2016, the EADT reported that planning permission for conversion to residential use had been lodged. We understand this has been granted.
