Overview | Gallery | Historical info | Public transport | Map

A traditional 15th century timber framed pub with many subsequent extensions.

It was converted into an independent family-owned freehouse in 2014 after many years owned by Punch Taverns.

On December 20th, the pub was badly damaged when a van smashed into it. The management are hoping they can keep the pub trading while it's getting repaired, but it might be worthwhile checking with the pub if you're planning to visit from any distance.

Story at EADT.
