It isn't entirely certain which part of the building was actually the pub. The dwelling to the left (Wheatsheaf House) has been suggested, but the dwelling to the right actually has a sign on the door saying "The Wheatsheaf".
No application for renewal of the license was lodged in 1964, giving us a fair idea when it closed.
