Located on the Earl of Iveagh's historic country estate, direct descendant of the Guinness family, this traditional country inn is truly the 'home' of Guinness in England. Family and pet friendly, there are a varying range of fine local ales including their own seasonal pump and and bottled ales. Home grown food served all day every day. 5 star accommodation, extensive garden, special events programme. Roaring log fire. The AA Pub of the Year (England) 2013-14.
Extensively redeveloped 2012/2013 into a sizeable hotel, with the original pub now making up only a small part of the building.
