The Cliff Hotel fell into the sea in 1905.
It's listed in 1874 as being in Kirtley(sic), but it seems probable that this is actually the same building. The 1855 White's Directory lists southern Kirkley as part of Pakefield and northern Kirkley as part of Lowestoft.
[Note, the opening date is reported as 1875]
(Is this the same as the Mill, Kirkley, listed under Lowestoft?)
The map location was confirmed on the 1886 OS map.
