This wonderful pub is under threat. In mid-November 2015, the EADT reported that a planning application to convert it to residential use has been lodged. This has since been granted. Another wonderful pub under threat but will remain open for time being - now a case of use it or lose it!
An absolute gem! This has only been a pub since 1979, having been a shop previously. The internal timbering creates a timeless atmosphere.
The pub can be difficult to find; entertainer Doc Cox (AKA Ivor Biggun) told BBC Radio Suffolk's Lesley Dolphin that he gets within two miles and the lady on his sat-nav bursts into tears. Occasional live music.
Real draught cider available

Traditional pub games available
Real coal or log fire
