Bungay Beaconsfield Armshistorical era: date unknown
We understand that the Beaconsfield Arms has partly been demolished. Part it may still be standing; it was for a time used as a bookie's office (this was two doors from the Chequers). So it seems the small building at the nearest end (currently occupied by a hairdresser's) is all that's left of it.

(** historic newspaper information from Stuart Ansell)
The first Earl of Beaconsfield (from 1876) was Benjamin Disraelin who was a British literary and social figure and also a Conservative MP and the UK's first and so far only Jewish born Prime Minister (in office from 1874-80).
