G2 listed building dating from early 15th cent. The building apparently dates from the 17th century, but underwent major renovation in the 20th and was updated in 2015 and now offers two ales from local Nethergate Brewery alongside four guests.
The Cock was named Adnams' pub of the year in the brewery's 2008 Pub Awards.
A small brewery was located somewhere on site in the late 19th cent.
