The Three Tuns once stood at the western corner of a junction between Commercial Road and Wolsey Street (now virtually all disappeared) under what is now a busy road junction.

An earlier pub of same name is also listed at the Cornhill.

"inter-war years" Grace & Harry Collings ran the pub.

It's shown (but not named) on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century.
