In 1861, 1871, and 1881 census Augustus Thomas Cook was listed as a "Beer House keeper" (by 1891 his occupation was given as 'Foundry Labourer' so maybe trade wasn't so good?)

A report in the Ipswich Journal** in Dec 1890 states that : An announcement of the death on the 26th November, at the River Queen, Stoke Street, Louisa, the wife of Augustus Cook, aged 68 years.
