Currently closed and very derelict looking. Planning permission for conversion into a children's nursery has been granted; work commenced during 2016.

The Battle of Minden (August 1759) was fought near city of Hanover in Germany where the 12th Foot (later known as the Suffolk Regiment) marched though fields of roses to help defeat a French army as part of Seven Years War.
