Built 16th century, with additions in the 17th. Now houses Thatchers Restaurant.
The pub appears on the 1958 OS map, but has gone by the 1975 sheet (when the building's shown as "Thatchers"), so presumably closed between those dates.
My grandfather James Jolly was landlord here and also at the Brettenham Crown. I lived with him from 1940 to 1945, his sister also had Felsham Six Bells and two nephews had Hesset Five Bells & Preston Six Bells.
