A mid-17th century building, with 20th century additions.
The license wasn't renewed in 1960, so it must have closed in that year or 1959.
A report in the Ipswich Journal*** on 3rd Jun in 1837 stated that Robert Koipe COBBOLD of the Eye Brewery was retiring from business & was looking to sell various Inns & Public Houses including the Queen's Head, Bottesdale.
A report in the Ipswich Journal** in May 1840 states :
Died on the 27th April 1840, at his brothers at the Kingâ€™s Head Inn, Botesdale, aged 46, Mr Robert Braddle, late waiter at the Angel, Bury.
